Today I am selling a SET of 2 original WW2 British Royal Air Force RAF APPPRENTICE’S BADGES in good used condition. Both badges are made of brass or bronze. The first badge is marked: “J.R. GAUNT B’HAM” the other one is without maker marks. Size: diameter 34.6mm. This type of badge was worn by boys in RAF. To help develop good charakter the boys on an apprenticeship had their own unique trade badge, a four bladed propeller in a wheel that was sewn or fixed onto the sleeves on their jackets. This badge is not typical: there is round aluminum back part fixed to the the front brass part by the sleel screw. The condition and all details you will find in the pictures. They are 100% genuine old items – condition as found.
