Today I am selling SET OF 2 original Polish MILITARY BUTTONS with Eagle. It is large size button in good used condition. They were produced in WW2 era and used by Polish Air Force. There are maker marks on the reverse side of both buttons: “J. R. GAUNT & SON LONDON”. Both buttons are gilded or gold color painted. They are in good used condition with identical maker marks. This set would look great in any militaria collection. The condition and all details you will find in the pictures. 100% genuine !!
There are 3 different sizes of WW2 Polish Air Force metal buttons: Large, medium and small. I have found few different makers marks on the reverse side of the buttons from my collection: “J.R. Gaunt & Son London”, “Firmin London”, “Gives Ltd”, “SPECIAL QUALITY”. Some of Polish Air Force button were produced without maker marks. All WW2 Polish Air Force buttons produced in UK are gold color. SIZES: *Large size 23.8 mm – for coat and tunic, *Medium size 17.3mm for shoulder straps or tunic pockets, Small 14mm for side cap.
