Today I am selling ORIGINAL GERMAN WOUND BADGE, metal detecting find. It is made of steel (magnetic) and black painted. It is complete with original pin on the reverse side. Size: 43.9mm x 36.6mm. Weigth: 10.2g. I did not find any maker marks on it. It is genuine badge from WW2 era – metal detecting find. It needs good cleaning. The condition and all details you will find in the pictures. 100% GENUINE !!!
GERMAN WOUND BADGE WAS GIVEN TO ANY MEMBER OF THE ARMED FORCES WHO WAS WOUNDED IN ACTION. THERE WERE 3 CLASSES: BLACK, SILVER AND GOLD. THIS BADGE WAS WORNON THE BREAST AT THE LEFT-HAND SIDE OF THE TUNIC.
