Today I am selling an original British BADGE from WW2 in very good condition. It is small metal badge in the form of a parachutist flanked by the letters “G” and “Q” – GQ (Gregory & Quilter) Parachute Company LTD. Size: 36.8mm x 16.7mm. Weight: 2g. I did not find any maker marks on the reverse side. This badge was awarded to R.A.F. Royal Air Force pilots they escaped and survived through the use of GQ parachutes. In 1940 GQ initiated their own club known as the GQ Gold Wings Club and began to award the badge (there are few variations of GQ badge). These badges were unofficially issued by the parachute manufacturer. The condition and all details you will find in the pictures.
