Today I am selling 100% original German FLOOR TILE WITH SWASTIKA. It is fixed to the wooden frame. This tile was produced by German top maker – VILLEROY & BOCH. Good used condition. It is original old good quality tile produced before WW2 probably in 20’s (100 years old). Size: tile only – 16.8cm x 16.8cm x 1.8cm. Weight: 1.25kg. TILE with WOODEN FRAME – 19cm x 19cm x 2.8cm. It is heavy item. There are maker marks on the reverse side of the tile: “VILLEROY & BOCH METTLACH II”. The condition and all details you will find in the pictures. It is rare pattern of old floor tile found in Germany. Tiles like this one were used to build floor in few important official German buildings before 1945. This genuine old tile would look great in any collection. RARE !!! (No.11)
VILLEROY & BOCH was established in 1748. The firm started floor tiles production in 1852 in Mettlach.
