Today I am selling an original German badge in good condition. It is WOUND BADGE IN SILVER 1939 (Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber). It is made of silver plated zinc. No maker marks. This badge is complete with original pin, not damaged, good used condition. Size: 44.2mm x 36.7mm. Weight: 21.8g. It is interesting German badge from WW2 era. The condition and all details you will find in the pictures.
GERMAN WOUND BADGE WAS GIVEN TO ANY MEMBER OF THE ARMED FORCES WHO WAS WOUNDED IN ACTION. THERE WERE 3 CLASSES: BLACK, SILVER AND GOLD. THIS BADGE WAS WORNON THE BREAST AT THE LEFT-HAND SIDE OF THE TUNIC.
