Today I am selling an original German badge in poor used condition. It is WOUND BADGE in black (Verwundetenabzeichen). It is made of brass (non magnetic). There is maker mark: “L11” on the reverse side of the badge. This badge is complete with original pin (blocked). Size: 44.4mm x 36.4mm. Weight: 12g. It is original German badge from WW2 era in poor condition. The condition and all details you will find in the pictures.
GERMAN WOUND BADGE WAS GIVEN TO ANY MEMBER OF THE ARMED FORCES WHO WAS WOUNDED IN ACTION. THERE WERE 3 CLASSES: BLACK, SILVER AND GOLD. THIS BADGE WAS WORNON THE BREAST AT THE LEFT-HAND SIDE OF THE TUNIC.
