Today I am selling a ORIGINAL WW2 German EAGLE BADGE – Cap badge from WW2 era. It is in good used condition. This WW2 German cap badge is made of zinc. The eagle is superimposed on an oak leaf wreath, with a banner at the bottom inscribed with the word “LANDWACHT”. I did not find any maker marks on the reverse side. There is original pin on the reverse side to fix it to the cap. This pattern of cap badge was used by a Dutch auxillary police force formed in 1942 to guard prisons of war and foreign workers in the German Reich.
