Today I am selling an WW2 Air Raid Precautions (ARP) METAL BADGE. This badge is made of white metal. Until 1939 ARP badges were produced by the Royal Mint and made of solid sterling silver, with a crescent-shaped button hole attachment for men, and a pin style brooch for women. From 1940 on, the ARP badges were made of a base metal. It is Women’s original badge with pin on the reverse side. There is maker mark: “Marple & Beasley Birmingham” on the badge. SIZE: 38.2mm x 25.8mm. Weight: 7.2g. Very good used condition. The condition and all details you will find in the pictures.
