I am selling an 100% original WW1 German TEA SPOON with IRON CROSS and date 1914 – 1915 engraved on it. This spoon is silver plated. Good used condition. Size: lenght 14.5cm. Weight – 24g. The condition and all details you will find in the pictures. INSCRIPTION: front side – Iron Cross and date 1914-15, reverse side: Hallmark:”B” (Bruckmann), a locomotive engine and “90” indicating heavy silver plate. This spoon was produced by a famous German maker – BRUCKMANN. It is original German TEA SPOON from WW1 era – probably produced in 1915. It is 100% original item. RARE !!

P. BRUCKMANN & Sohne – German silverware manufacturer (1805 – 1973). P. Bruckmann & Sohne was founded in 1805 in Heilbronn, Germany by Georg Peter Bruckmann, and grew to become one of the largest and most innovative silverware producers in the country. By the late 1800s, Bruckmann operated the largest silverware factory in Germany. Under the leadership of Peter Bruckmann (1865 – 1937), it becameknown for its collaboration with prominent designers of the Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) and Art Deco movements. During the Nazi era , Bruckmann’s management had close connectionsto the regime. Peter Bruckmannhimselfwas an early member of the Nazi Party NSDAP and supporter of its industrial and cultural poliecies. The company productionwas partly redirected to support the German war economy. On December 4th, 1944, Allied air raids heavily bombed Heilbronn, and the Bruckmann factorywas largely destroyed. Much of its machinery, archives and production facilities were lost in the attack.
