Today I am selling an ORIGINAL WW1 German WOUND BADGE in very good condition. It is made of brass (non magnetic) and silver plated. It is complete with original pin on the reverse side. Size: 44.2mm x 39.9mm. Weigth: 6.3g. I did not find any maker marks on it. It is genuine badge from WW1 era. The condition and all details you will find in the pictures. 100% GENUINE !
GERMAN WOUND BADGE WAS GIVEN TO ANY MEMBER OF THE ARMED FORCES WHO WAS WOUNDED IN ACTION. THERE WERE 3 CLASSES: BLACK, SILVER AND GOLD. THIS BADGE WAS WORNON THE BREAST AT THE LEFT-HAND SIDE OF THE TUNIC.
